Use This Fall to Get Ahead! 
Fall is in the air—the kids are back in school, leaves are turning, and we’ve got that crisp mountain air reminding us that snow isn’t far off.
If selling your home in the spring is even crossing your mind, fall is the perfect time to prep. Once winter hits, exterior work gets tricky—and come spring, you’ll be glad you started now.
Outdoor Tasks to Tackle Before Snow:Clean gutters & downspouts
Trim trees & remove dead branches
Touch up exterior paint or stain decks
Tidy landscaping & mulch garden beds
Power wash siding, porches, and paths
Indoor Prep (while it’s quiet):Start decluttering storage areas & closets
Donate or box up things you don’t use
Tackle small repairs (squeaky doors, scuffed walls, etc.)
Refresh paint in key rooms (neutral colors = buyer-friendly)
Organize the garage or utility areas
Bonus Tip:Take a few great photos of your home while fall colors are vibrant—buyers love seeing seasonal beauty in mountain listings!
